Florida Sleep and Neuro Diagnostic Services is a comprehensive neurophysiology laboratory featuring state of the art technology with a staff of board certified physicians who are supported by qualified sleep diagnostic technicians. FSNDS is designed to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of over 80 sleep related disorders. To fully meet the needs of sleep disorder patients we offer comprehensive diagnostic testing for other neuronal, neuromuscular and cardiac related conditions which impact this patient population.

Patients referred to FSNDS enjoy an advanced facility with fourteen private patient rooms that have been designed for patient comfort. Each patient room has a private bathroom with shower, cable television with HD monitors and furnishings that are designed to make the patient feel comfortable and secure. All of our rooms are closely monitored by our professional staff to ensure patient safety.

We will achieve our goal using the newest and most comprehensive state of the art technology available. We will offer eco-friendly comfortable secure accommodations in a centralized location.

To better serve the patient’s referred to FSNDS we will accept Medicare and most insurance plans. We will offer referring physicians accurate data analysis with timely diagnostic reports and recommendations that are produced by our caring professional staff. We are committed to improving patient’s lives by   working with the patients and their physicians to diagnose and treat sleep disorders.

Meet our Physicians

Edward D. Michaelson, MD FACP FCCP - Diplomate in Sleep Medicine (ABIM)
Edward D. Michaelson, MD is Board Certified in Pulmonary Medicine, Internal Medicine and Sleep Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians. He has participated on local, state and national committees concerned with pulmonary medicine, has served as a consultant to the National Institute of Health, United States Air Force and the Divers Alert Network. He is the author of over fifty scientific publications. Dr. Michaelson has advised manufacturers on development of sleep testing devices and has developed add-on applications for sleep study interpretation software. He is a member of the editorial advisory board of a national sleep publication. He is also actively involved in Diving and Marine Medicine, Medical-Legal Consulting, and he is an Expert Medical Advisor for Workers Compensation. Dr. Michaelson owns an internet based healthcare products company. His other interests and activities include Mergers and Acquisitions, Business Development and Medical Software and Technology.
